The thirty-sixth Spring Garden event was recently held in Breezand. Two members of the NLG Holland cooperative participated in this flower bulb show. Bloembollenkwekerij M.C. Zonneveld B.V. and Bloembollenkwekerij Gebroeders Hulsebosch represented the cooperative with a number of products. Gebroeders Hulsebosch received an award for best Lily L.A. Hybrid.
Beautiful flowers
Many bulb growers from the north of North Holland come and show their beautiful flowers at the Spring Garden event. There was a large variety of tulips, lilies, daffodils, crocuses, hyacinths, callas and other special bulbs on show.
Fairy tales
Over the past years, the Spring Garden event in Breezand has evolved into a professional event. This year, the theme of the flower show was ‘fairy tales’. The fragrant flowers were used in floral arrangements and placed among the tales of Hansel and Gretel, Sleeping Beauty and Little Red Riding Hood. The combination of fairy tales and spring flowers was definitely enchanting!
